Mastering Agreement
This is a simple contract between Indie Masters and the mastering client. By payment of your deposit for mastering you agree to the following:
Responsibility of Indie Masters:
- Indie Masters shall undertake required mastering services upon the payment of your deposit and subsequently provide reference test masters for your approval.
- Upon the client's approval of the reference test masters, the final balance for mastering is due.
- After the final payment is processed the final masters will be supplied.
Fees:
- The quoted fee is subject to change if additional services are required such as re-mastering from new mixes, glitch and noise removal including excessive sibilance, etc.
- New mixes supplied for mastering after mastering has been started will be charged at 50% of the original fee relative to each track.
Deposit
- Payment of the deposit for mastering by the client is an indication of their acceptance of this agreement.
- In the event mastering is aborted by the client after the deposit has been paid the deposit is not refundable.
Final Payment:
- After any relevant notes by the client on the reference masters have been fulfilled or when the client is satisfied or silent regarding the results of mastering, the final payment for mastering services is then due.
- Mastering that in very rare cases cannot be completed to the satisfaction of the client due to any insufficiency within the mix or mixes is the responsibility of the client and does not deny the validity of the final payment being due.
